Altar Guild

The Altar Guild of Bethany is a wonderful way for any Bethany member to serve our church.  The work is light and quick, but very important.

We continue to be the ‘behind-the scenes’ group that sets the table for the Lord’s Supper. 

Each week we prepare the communion elements, change the décor (paraments) to coincide with the church seasons of the church year. 

We keep our beautiful altar prepared, the candles full of oil, and ready the communion elements each Saturday and Sunday.  

If you would like to know more about the décor, stop by the Sacristy on Sunday morning and we will be glad to share our work.
