ELCA National Youth Gathering

Every three years, 30,000 high school youth and their adult leaders from across the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America gather for a week of faith formation known as the ELCA Youth Gathering. Through days spent in interactive learning, worship, Bible study, service and fellowship, young people grow in faith and are challenged and inspired to live their faith in their daily lives.

Bethany is sending a group of 45 youth and adult leaders to Houston this summer! If you are looking for last minutes ways help with fundraising, just look below!

Purchase Kwik Trip Cards - Bethany purchases Kwik Trip Gift cards at a 5% discount. You buy the cards at face value. The cards can be used for fuel, groceries and more at Kwik Trip. For non-fuel, alcohol or tobacco purchases, Bethany earns an additional 10%.

Million Pennies - We are collecting pennies, any loose change, even bills or checks. Check out our display in the Church Narthex. Our goal is the equivalent of a million pennies!

Club 9

Mentors and disciples (9th graders) meet the first Sunday night of the month at 6:30 p.m. for planned events. Both mentors and disciples are teachers and learners who together explore their own beliefs, share them with one another and grow in faith. They experience ministry together and develop a supportive relationship with the chance to build lifelong relationships.

Preparation for Confirmation

These are the topics that 10th graders focus on during the year. They also are asked to complete worship service experiences and help in service areas in our church and community.

High school Bible Study/Youth Group

is held on Wednesday nights during the school year from 7:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. in the Youth Room.
